Hello, my name is Jolene Marshall. I currently live in San Diego County and have resided here since 2005. I have lived in various parts of the world over the years but have found that San Diego is where I call home and always longed for when I was away. I am married and have been for 18yrs now. Marriage has been great but mine has had ups and downs, and highs and lows. I have learned that it is a process that you must be willing to work through the difficult times and grow and change together not separetly to make your union work. My mother was right when she said "marriage will be one of the hardest experiences of my life and it will take a lot of work on both of our parts". My greatest joy and fulfillment in my life is being mom to my two son's. My oldest is 16 and my youngest is 12. My son's bring me so much joy and it has been amazing to see their growth and development over the years into young men and I look forward to their futures. I like to take long walks and my favorite place to do this is along the beach I find for me that I develope such an inner peace within myself when I am there. The beach for me is ever changing and always evolving and I just find such beauty in that.
18 years, wow! My mom and dad just had their 29th anniversary. I love seeing people who have stayed together for so long! Very inspiring. :) I agree, walking along the beach is so peaceful. I'm happy you find such happiness at the beach!

ReplyDeleteHey its nice you have 18 years of marriage and that you are happy and that you care about your family and that you like to be in the beach. I like the beach too and I like to walk in the beach and look at he waves also make me relax.
